CMP's NECEC Corridor is a terrible idea. It will destroy pristine wilderness to create a profit-machine for multinational corporations. The people of Maine need to let our public officials know that we do not want this corridor in our state.

Sign below to join our coalition to Stop the Corridor!

We the people of Maine value our natural resources and our way of life. Central Maine Power and their foreign parent company have proposed a massive destructive pathway through our woods in order to bring high-voltage transmission lines to Massachusetts. Central Maine Power has shown itself as untrustworthy and not up to the task of such a large and potentially damaging project, and we hereby call on CMP, the state of Massachusetts, and Maine's regulators and elected officials to put an end to this project immediately.

No on the transmission line! The maine citizens should not have to fund this line for other states to receive a reduced power bill but the maine citizens rates are going through the roof! Cmp you should be ashamed to have cut all of those jobs to ensure that you make even more money by having what I would call a skeleton crew for your fulltime employee, and then raising your rates all the while ripping off your clients. How can you not send bills out, charge for services that weren’t even available and to charge 50 to 100 percent more for a bill and then tell them that it’s because of the cold? You cmp are liars cheats and thieves, how dare you. And the Maine puc should be investigated for bribes and payoffs. Your smart meters are junk and just like electronic devices they only last about 5 years before becoming junk. Even your workers say that the meters are junk and that cmp is not for the customers anymore. So again cmp you suck.

We were in Quebec and saw how awful the woods look cut through with huge power lines. We traveled where they want to cut in Maine. So beautiful!!!

    Maine really doesn’t deserve this.

Why in the world would anybody from maine want this? Love the fact that there is so much wooded area’s. We need maine to stay the way it is. When I moved to maine I was 12. My grandparent had asked if there was plumbing were we were moving. That was funny to me. People in city areas think maine is such a isolated state. There wrong..but love that people still think this way.

If there is a need for sustainable energy use this land for wind towers for Maine residents.

I have some very special places in my heart in Maine, Although it is not going through my particular piece of paradise, it is going through someone else’s’.
